You are created some very interesting presentations on 'Spring Offensive' and I thought you worked really hard - particularly in the lesson in the morning. You need to ensure that you complete all sections of the A3 grid - examples AND explanation of what these show. Really look at the individual words and explain these.
Good luck with your practice exam on monday - I look forward to seeing what you write on the poem.
KEY WORDS ...... stanza / pathetic fallacy
WHAT DO THEY MEAN?
CAN YOU EXPLAIN THEM?
HOW ARE THEY USED IN THE POEM?

YEAR 10 English
Thank you all for your hard work this half term. I have been so pleased and impressed by the way you approached the controlled assessment / exam on Romeo & Juliet. You have all shown a good understanding of the play and of the characters. There was great use of ideas for performance and this is a strength of the group.
You need to all know that your written targets are accuracy of spelling, punctuation and paragraphing and we will work on this again next term.
I also want you all to remember that behaviour in lessons and polite / respectful conduct to each other is essential at all times. You have come a long way this term and are behaving with more respect and with greater concentration now and I am proud of you.
I hope you have a lovely half term and I shall see you in November.
